Marco Lindsey

Marco Lindsey is the Associate Director of Diversity Equity and Inclusion at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. Marco was previously the first African American Chief of Staff at Berkeley Haas, where he is also an alumni of the school’s Executive Education program. Marco co-wrote the school’s Diversity Equity and Inclusion Action Plan in 2018 and prior to that, was instrumental in helping the school codify its Four Defining Principles that has shaped its culture for the past decade.
Marco is also a board member of the Bay Area chapter of the 100 Black Men of America. During his 12 year tenure with the organization, he was voted as “Man of the Year” for the work he has done in connecting underserved residents of color with opportunities in the tech sector. He has created and hosted various diversity and belong panel discussions around “Non-Engineering Careers in Tech Companies”, “How to Launch your Own Start-Up”, as well as “Attracting VC funding for your Start Up”.
Marco is also the Principal of MT Lindsey Consulting where he works with tech, bio-tech, health care and law firms with their diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging kpi’s and hiring initiatives. Marco has received Congressional recognition from Councilwoman
