Kimberli Cornell is a Senior Vice President with 25 years of experience addressing and advising on issues related to client acceptance and conflict management in the business advisory and consulting industry.

Cornell works with business professionals and liaises with clients on a variety of client acceptance issues — including resolution and mitigation of actual and perceived conflicts of interest — to ensure that new clients, business issues, and relationship concerns are fully vetted. She has extensive experience with conflicts of interest, ethical wall policies, and procedures development and implementation. She furthermore provides compliance through oversight and training.

Before joining Ankura, Cornell created a centralized conflict department in a firm that grew to more than 4,400 professionals in 50 offices internationally. With a history of rapid growth firm expansion and development, Cornell has been involved in numerous corporate initiatives, including merger and acquisition integration, IT governance, and enterprise corporate systems evaluations. She works closely with other firm leaders to create and improve processes and policies to support long-term organizational growth.
