While the parents who see Rahsaan Shears at their children’s soccer games know her as a proud soccer mom, they probably don’t know that she’s working to change the world, and KPMG, to be more diverse, equitable, and inclusive.

Rahsaan leads KPMG’s Commercial line of business for a Transformation Delivery service; in this role, she has excelled at helping clients realize the business benefits of digital transformation while leveraging a diverse set of resources. In addition, as part of KPMG’s Network of Women (KNOW), she helps lead KPMG’s Executive Leadership Institute for Women, which provides quarterly sessions and monthly cohort meetings with smaller groups to support women leaders in their careers.

Her commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion at the firm led to the opportunity for Rahsaan to become the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Partner Lead for KPMG’s Advisory practice. In this role, she helps Advisory meet its goals as part of KPMG’s Accelerate 2025 initiative to move the firm towards a more representative population. Under her leadership, the team launched a DEI speaker series that seeks to bring in external experts on DEI for robust discussions to help people understand their role in supporting DEI. She also championed a DEI newsletter for Consulting to help people better understand their unconscious biases and build awareness to ensure a more inclusive workplace.
