Alex Johnston is a Managing Director and Co-Head of the Digital, Data & Cloud Practice at Clearsight Advisors. Alex works with clients aligned with next-generation technology themes in data, AI, software development, digital products, and cloud services. Alex has advised on over 25 M&A transactions aggregating to over $5 billion in transaction value. Prior to Clearsight, Alex was an investment banker with Wells Fargo Securities and an economic consultant with Charles River Associates.

In 2021, Alex received the Association for Corporate Growth’s (ACG) Young Professional Award, honoring emerging leaders who have significantly contributed to the middle market M&A community. Alex received his BA from Haverford College and his MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
